TEFL / TESOL Certification Course for Hanoi
Hanoi offers a more traditional side of Vietnam—historic streets, strong community feel, and a steady demand for English teachers across language centers and schools. While we don’t currently run our TEFL course in Vietnam, you can complete our 4-week TEFL / TESOL certification in Bangkok and head to Hanoi with an internationally recognized qualification.
Please note: We don’t currently offer our TEFL course in Hanoi. You can complete the same 4-week, 120-hour TEFL / TESOL certification at our main training center in Bangkok, Thailand.
Bangkok is an easy and comfortable place to spend a few weeks training, with great transport, affordable living, and a supportive learning environment designed for new teachers.
After finishing the course, you’ll hold an internationally accredited TEFL/TESOL certificate that is fully accepted in Vietnam, allowing you to head to Hanoi ready to apply for teaching jobs with confidence.

Course Overview
Our 4-week, 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certification course is designed to make you genuinely classroom-ready—especially for the kind of structured, curriculum-based classes you’ll often teach in Hanoi. The training focuses on practical teaching skills, lesson structure, classroom management, and teaching techniques you can use immediately.
Once you complete the course in Bangkok, you’ll be prepared to apply for teaching jobs in Vietnam with confidence. Our certificate is internationally accredited and widely accepted across Vietnam and other major teaching destinations worldwide.
Weekly Breakdown
Week 1: Foundations of TEFL/TESOL
- What ESL teaching looks like in Southeast Asia (including Vietnam)
- Lesson structure, classroom presence, and teacher mindset
- Core classroom management for real-world classes
- Intro to planning engaging lessons for kids and teens
Week 2: Language Skills and Teaching Techniques
- Teaching grammar and vocabulary in a simple, student-friendly way
- Speaking and pronunciation techniques you can apply immediately
- Teaching listening, reading, and writing with clear lesson flow
- Micro-teaching with feedback to build confidence fast
Week 3: Lesson Planning and Classroom Dynamics
- Planning lessons for mixed levels (very common in Vietnam)
- Activities, games, and pacing for group classes
- Error correction, drilling, and keeping lessons interactive
- Preparing for observed teaching practice
Week 4: Teaching Practice and Evaluation
- Delivering lessons and receiving structured feedback
- Improving confidence, clarity, and classroom control
- Final evaluations and certification
- Next steps for applying to teaching jobs in Hanoi
Typical Daily Schedule
Our Bangkok course is intensive, structured, and designed to give you real skills—while still leaving you time to enjoy the city. A typical day includes:
- 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Training sessions and teaching technique workshops
- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Lunch break
- 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Lesson planning, activities, and peer collaboration
- 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Practice teaching and feedback
- Evening: Optional cultural activities or time to explore Bangkok
Teaching Practice and Cultural Immersion
Our course combines real teaching practice with cultural immersion so you feel confident both in the classroom and in Southeast Asia. You’ll build the skills needed for Vietnam’s teaching environment, while also experiencing the energy and convenience of Bangkok.
