Paid TEFL Internship
Our program offers 4 weeks of onsite TEFL training with certification in Bangkok, followed by a 4-5 month managed teaching placement in or outside of Bangkok.
- Guaranteed minimum salary of 35,000 THB per month.
- 30 nights single-occupancy superior room hotel accommodation with breakfast during training.
- Accommodation support during the placement period.
- Visa advice and support, including assistance with SIM card and hospital registration.

Program Summary
TEFL ONE offers a paid 4-5 month placement for full-time English teaching in Thailand, providing comprehensive TEFL training and certification in Bangkok. The program is offered twice per year, at the beginning of each Thai school semester.
No prior teaching experience or Thai language knowledge is required. The program includes both effective TEFL training and a managed teaching placement.
Effective TEFL Training
- 4-week onsite 120-hour TEFL Certification (Monday to Friday).
- Fundamentals of teaching English as a Foreign Language: lesson planning, classroom management, and the Presentation-Practice-Production (PPP) method.
- Observed teaching practices with real students at local schools.
- Cultural awareness training and survival Thai language instruction.
- ISO 9001 Quality Management certification and Thai Ministry of Education approval.
Effective Working
Interns are placed at private or government schools with a minimum salary of 35,000 THB per month. The placement lasts for 4-5 months, with support for visa and work permits.
Interns are expected to be in school from around 7:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Employment contracts can be extended based on mutual satisfaction.

Thai Non-Immigrant B Visa Support
Interns enter Thailand with either a 60-day Tourist Visa or a 30-day Visa Exemption. During training, TEFL ONE coordinates the paperwork for a non-immigrant B visa application.
The visa is necessary for obtaining a work permit, and the process includes support for navigating Thai government requirements. Visa costs are the responsibility of the intern.
